 Maximum number of Contests: 18
 First Available Contest Date: December 2, 2010
 Player Participation Limit:
   Daily Limit: A wrestler may not wrestle in more than five (5) matches on any given day.
   Season Limitation: No student may participate in more than 36 matches prior to League-sponsored tournament.
 Sub-Sections begin:The week of February 7, 2011
 Last Day to hold Section Tournaments:
   Team - Saturday, February 19, 2011
   Individual - Saturday, February 26, 2011
 Rules Meetings begin on November 1, 2010 and must be completed by November 23, 2010.
 Deadline to complete the Eligibility Verification Form: December 3, 2010.
 Deadline to certify rosters, schedule photo, etc. for the State Program: February, 22, 2011.

Rule Change Highlights for 2010-11:
     • 4-5-7 Male and female contestants will now be required to wear a suitable undergarment during weigh-ins.
   • 5-20-5 NOTE; The NOTE to Rule 5-20-5 was deleted for the 2010-11 season.
   • 5-20-9 The offensive starting position rule was revised.
   • 7-1-5x (New) Rear-standing, double-knee kickback was added to the list of illegal holds/maneuvers.
   • 8-2-4 Concussion rule revised.

  		• 2010-2011 Rule Changes

  • UNIFORM CLARIFICATION REGARDING THE USE OF ADHESIVE TAPE:

    Rule 4.1.5 states "The uniform (includes required shoes, headgear, and singlet) shall be worn as intended/designed by the manufacturer."

    The manufacturer did not intend for adhesive tape to be a part of the headgear as it is sold. The only tape we will allow is when a pad is taped to the headgear to protect a cauliflower ear.

  		• NF Wrestling Rule Interpretation, Rule 4-2, Hair Covering "The cover shall be a part of the ear guards or worn under the ear guards. The NFHS interpreation on this type of hair covering is that it has to be worn under the wrestling headgear. The hair cover needs to be of a solid material and be nonabrasive.
