| Orono senior Glenn Ylitalo scored the game-winning goal, at 4:02 of overtime, to give the Spartans a 2-1 edge over the Warroad Warriors. The Warriors loss is only the third this season for the 2003 defending Class A Champions. Scoring first was Warroad junior T.J. Oshie at 3:49 of the first period. With only 52 seconds expired in the second period, Orono senior Pat Dynan scored to tie the game. Orono had 24 shots on goal while holding Warroad to only 16, none of which were in overtime. |
