| In the first quarterfinal game of the Class AA tournament, the Centennial Cougars defeated the Holy Angels Stars, 2-0. After two scoreless periods, Centennial senior Tom Gorowsky netted the Cougars first goal, unassisted, at 2:33 of the third period. Sophomore teammate Ryan Flynn scored an empty net goal with 2.6 seconds remaining on the clock to secure the Cougars bid to the semifinal round. |
