| The Wayzata Trojans beat the Tartan Titans, 6-0, in quarterfinal play. The Trojans scored five of their six goals in the first period. Sophomore Joey Miller and senior Kevin Kolkind each had two goals in the game, including Kolkind's second period goal with only eight second remaining in the period. Teammates senior Justin Swierk and junior Matt Woods rounded out the scoring. Wayzata had 29 shots on goal and held Tartan to only 16. With the win, Wayzata advances to semifinal action where they will meet Centennial and play for an opportunity to advance to their first-ever state championship game. |
