| Despite trailing early in the game by two goals, the Orono Spartans came back to defeat the Hibbing Bluejackets, 5-2, and advance to the Class A championship game. On the very first shot of the game, Hibbing junior Graham Parson scored to put the Bluejackets on the board first. The game was tied at the end of the second period. Three third period goals by Orono secured the Spartans win. Orono senior Pat Dynan led the Spartans with three goals and one assist. With the win, Orono will meet the Breck Mustangs for the Class A title. |
