| In their 20th tournament appearance, but first since 2002, defeated Minnetonka, 5-4, in quarterfinal play. After skating to a one-to-one tie at the end of the first period, the Hill-Murray Pioneers scored two back-to-back goals early in the second period. Minnetonka answered with two quick back-to-back goals of its own to tie the game. Each team scored one more goal before junior Nick Larson completed a hat trick when he scored the game-winning goal for Hill-Murray. |
