| In their 13th tournament appearance, the Thunderhawks of Grand Rapids defeated the Roseau Rams 7-4 to advance to the semifinal round. The two-to-two tie at the end of the first period held until early in the third period when the Thunderhawks got hot and scored five more goals. Leading the Thunderhawks in scoring was junior Patrick White with his four goals and one assist. Teammate junior Joe Stejskal had an empty net goal and two assists. With the win, Grand Rapids will meet Hill-Murray to determine who will play for the Class AA tournament championship. |
