| The Marshall School Hilltoppers defeated the Little Falls Flyers, 6-0, to earn a trip to the championship game and guarantee an improvement on last year’s third-place finish. Little Falls had several power play opportunities they were not able to capitalize on. In fact, the Flyers went 0-for-9, including five power plays in the second period. Of the six goals given up by the Flyers, two of them were short-handed goals. Senior Rob Bordson led the Hilltoppers with a hat trick, including a power play and the two short-handed goals, and one assist. Teammate junior Bob Gutsch scored two goals and one assist. Junior Jack Connolly rounded out the scoring for the Hilltoppers with his second period goal. Senior goalie Jason Paul earned the shutout with 17 saves. |
