| Minnetonka had a breakout second period scoring four goals and hung on to defeat the Rams of Roseau 6-4. The Skippers led 4-1 at the second intermission. The Rams scored three times in the final period, the third goal coming with their own net empty in favor of the extra attacker, and made the score 5-4. However, Minnetonka’s Jack Paul tallied an empty net goal with six seconds remaining to secure the win. The Skippers were led by Paul who scored twice, both in the final period, and also had one assist. Minnetonka led in shots on goal; 36-26 for the game. Brian McMillin got two third period goals to lead Roseau. |
