Orono, the No. 2 seed in the Class A field of the Minnesota State High School League’s Girls Hockey State Tournament for the second consecutive season, opened this current year’s event in similar fashion to 2024.

The Minnesota State High School League is proud to announce a partnership with Warroad Hockey Co., the official hockey equipment supplier of the 2025 Boys and Girls Hockey State Tournaments.

The Girls Hockey State Tournament begins a four-day run on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at two venues in downtown St. Paul. Warroad in Class A and Edina in Class AA are the defending state champions.

Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd earned its second state championship of the weekend while Totino-Grace and Brainerd defended their titles as the Minnesota State High School League's Dance Team State Tournament concluded Saturday at Target Center with the High Kick competition.

2025 Dance Team All-Tournament Teams

Logan Drevlow won the Boys Nordic Skiing Pursuit State Championship while Wayzata claimed the team crown.

Mounds View sophomore Linnea Ousdigian won the Girls Nordic Skiing Pursuit State Championship for the second consecutive season. Minneapolis Washburn won the team title.
