Dan Dornfeld, a graduate of St. Louis Park High School and the University of Minnesota, has taken the reigns of one of the greatest cross country races in the nation every year. The 2023 competition was Dornfeld's 37th time starting the Roy Griak Invitational.

Dwight Lundeen Stadium was recently revealed to honor the only coach the Becker football program has had in its 54 years of existence.

Marie Boo, a 2007 graduate of Anoka High School, recently returned from New Zealand where she was a physical therapist for the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team. 

Ismaila Jome recently took some time to reflect on his professional soccer career as well as his time playing for Prairie Seeds Academy. Jones was voted Class A Mr. Soccer in 2012. 

Sam Delaney, a 2023 graduate of Academy of Holy Angels, just completed his first summer show with Circus Juventas. Delaney was one of four aerial silks performers in "Excalibur."

Members of the Goodhue High School choir recently had the opportunity to perform with Foreigner at Treasure Island Resort and Casino. The band has had a relationship with the Goodhue choir program since 2018. 

Jack Beulke, a 2018 graduate of Kenyon-Wanamingo High School, is pursuing his dream of becoming a sideline reporter with an internship with the Minnesota Twins.

JJ Fredericks, a 2023 graduate of Shakopee High School, recently served as the batboy at the annual Minnesota All-Star Baseball game.

David Roddy, a 2019 graduate of Breck School and forward for the Memphis Grizzlies, completed his rookie season with an appearance in the first round of the NBA Western Conference playoff series. 

McKenna Melville, a 2017 graduate of Eagan High School, is returning to her alma mater as the head volleyball coach starting in the fall of 2023.

Arik Cannon, a 2000 graduate of Forest Lake High School, recently brought a taste of professional wrestling to his alma mater. He did a benefit show in late April and donated the proceeds to Rangers Helping Rangers.

When Emma Bates crossed the finish line at Monday's Boston Marathon, she became the first American woman — and Minnesota native — to complete the 2023 race.
