Moorhead senior forward Olivia Kortan was selected the 2025 Class AA Herb Brooks Award recipient during the Minnesota State High School League's Girls Hockey State Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul.
New Prague teammates Ava Bruegger and Hailey Proshek both posted all-around scores of 37.575 in the Class AA Girls Gymnastics State Meet on Saturday night, with the senior Bruegger awarded the all-around gold medal thanks to a tie-breaker scorer of 37.65 while the freshman Proshek took silver with 37.5625 in the tie-breaker.
