League and Wells Fargo Sponsor Most Valuable Teammate Award

The Minnesota State High School League and corporate partner Wells Fargo are excited to sponsor for the third year in a row, the Most Valuable Teammate (MVT) Award. This award goes to student leaders who are the backbones of high school athletic and fine arts activity programs. Awardees are recognized weekly on the League’s social media platforms—Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram throughout the year beginning later this month.

Wells Fargo is excited to partner with the League to recognize students who exemplify teamwork by putting team before self.” said Laurie Nordquist, Wells Fargo Minnesota CEO. “High schools are the center of activities in communities throughout Minnesota. We value this opportunity to shine the spotlight on these student leaders.”

Nominations for the Most Valuable Teammate Award will be accepted throughout the 2021-22 school year.  High school coaches and directors of fine arts activities are encouraged to nominate students from their team who exemplify the qualities of a great teammate—respectful, reliable, and supportive of others. Nomination forms are posted on the League’s web site on the Award dashboard.
