Park Center alum Derrick Ogechi jumps into Spanish basketball

Brooklyn Park’s Derrick Ogechi has signed for Cordoba Club de Baloncesto in the Spanish Liga EBA, part of the lower tiers of the Spanish professional basketball pyramid.
Ogechi was a two-year starter for the Park Center Pirates at guard, where he averaged 16 points per game while helping Park Center to a 20-7 record and the Section 5AAAA semifinals as a senior in 2016-2017.
