Brad Johnson will be honored for his decades of continued leadership as one of three inductees in the Administrators category in the League's Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

Congratulations to this year's ExCEL Award recipients. 

The ExCEL Award – Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership honors high school juniors who are active in school activities, leaders in their schools, and who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service

Jon Springer, Minnesota State High School League Hall Of Fame Class of 2024 inductee, was an official with a career that spans 60 years.

Mike Bialka, a 2024 Minnesota State High School League Class of 2024 inductee, is a respected sports reporter and editor in a career that spanned five decades.

Jill Lofald, Minnesota State High School League Class of 2024 inductee, is the Speech Coach at Duluth Denfeld.

Member schools of the Minnesota State High School League and members of the public are encouraged to submit nominations for the League’s Hall of Fame Class of 2024. Nominations are open until Thursday, June 1.  

Applications are now being accepted for the annual Minnesota Broadcasters Association scholarship award. The educational-scholarship award is given to selected seniors that plan to pursue a career in the broadcasting industry.

The 2023 Triple ‘A’ Award state scholarship recipients are Avery Anderson, Orono; Isaac Kreft, West Central Area; Maci Lake, Sebeka; and Ava Lowman, Cambridge-Isanti

The Minnesota State High School League will recognize eight individuals with Officials Distinguished Service Awards during the Boys Basketball State Tournament on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Ryan Bergeron is an award-winning sports journalist that covers Greenbush-Middle River High School for Page 1 Publications. He is the League's recipient of the Outstanding Media Service Award in the Print Division.
