The Minnesota State High School League's Visual Arts State Festival is Saturday, May 13 at the Perpich Center for the Arts. Spotlight on the Arts recipients will be honored and have their works on display.

Recipients of Spotlight on the Arts recognition at the section level will be honored on Saturday, May 13 when the Minnesota State High School League hosts the Visual Arts State Festival at the Perpich Center for the Arts in Golden Valley. More than 250 students from the League’s member schools have qualified for the recognition. It is the first in-person gathering of the Visual Arts State Festival since 2019.

The exhibition highlights Spotlight on the Arts recipients and provides the artist an opportunity to display their work, discuss their artistic process and celebrate the achievements of others.

“It has been an amazing spring for students that participated in Visual Arts,” said League Staff member Tim Leighton, who oversees Visual Arts. “There is a renewed  excitement from the member schools, students, advisors and the community as we gather to celebrate the incredible talents and gifts of these students.”
