Eight teams advanced to the semifinals following opening day action in the Minnesota State High School League's Boys and Girls Soccer State Tournaments.

The Minnesota State High School League’s Girls Tennis State Tournaments begin a four-day journey to championships this week. Team competition in two enrollment classes begin Tuesday, Oct. 22 and conclude on Friday, Oct. 25 at two South Minneapolis venues.

The Minnesota State High School League’s Boys and Girls Soccer State Tournaments begin a two-week journey to championships this week. The quarterfinals in three enrollment classes will be held over three days this week at six regional sites. Winning teams from those quarterfinals advance to U.S. Bank Stadium for semifinals on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and Wednesday, Oct. 30. Championship Day on Friday, Nov. 1 features six title games, three for each gender in three enrollment classes.

East Ridge successfully defended its Class AAAA Baseball State Championship with a walk-off 3-2 victory over Mounds View in the title game on Saturday, June 22 at Target Field in downtown Minneapolis.

Totino-Grace captured a baseball state championship for the first time in program history with a 2-1 victory over Mahtomedi in the Class AAA title game on Saturday, June 22 at Target Field in downtown Minneapolis.

Rockford captured its first baseball championship with a 6-0 victory over Foley in the Class AA title game on Friday, June 21 at Target Field.

Springfield recorded a 5-1 victory over Parkers Prairie on Friday, June 21 to capture the Class A Baseball State Championship at Target Field.

The Minnesota State High School League's Clay Target State Tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 21 at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake. In the event of inclement weather, the Rain Date is Saturday, June 22.
