Breck/Blake captures fifth consecutive team title in Class A boys swim and dive

The Breck/Blake team ran its winning streak to five consecutive championships, netting 418.5 points this year. The Alexandria Cardinals placed second with 250 points and the Sartell Sabres were third at 237.

Charlie Crosby and James Pan won two titles apiece for Breck/Blake. Crosby won his second consecutive crown in both the 50-yard freestyle (19.87) and 100-yard backstroke (47.68). His 50-yard time was also a Class A and All-Time state meet record. Pan set Class A records in both the 200-yard individual medley (1:47.90) and the 100-yard breaststroke (54.16).

Pan and Crosby also competed on both of Breck/Blake’s winning relay titles. The team of Crosby, Pan, Mitchell Brown, and Charlie Egeland won the program’s fourth consecutive championship in the 200-yard medley relay (1:31.67). In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Breck/Blake set a Class A record with its time of 1:23.60. That team was comprised of Crosby, Brown, Henry Webb, and Pan.

Nico Losinski of Simley was the final competitor to defend his 2020 title. He captured his second consecutive championship in the 500-yard freestyle (4:40.15).
