Clay Target State Tournament will cap 2020-21 League events

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. --- The Minnesota State High School League’s Clay Target State Tournament, the final event of the 2020-2021 school year, is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 25 at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake. In case of inclement weather, a rain date is set for Saturday, June 26.

Forty teams and nearly 100 individuals have qualified for the tournament that has taken place since 2014, with the exception of 2020 when the global pandemic forced cancellation of the event. In both of the competitions, participants will shoot at 100 targets.

7:30-8:30 a.m. - Team Check-In

8:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremony

9:00 a.m. - Team Competition Begins

12:15 p.m. (approximate) - Team Award Ceremony

12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Individual Competition Check-In
