Dance Team State Tournament, 2023: Advance News Release

Scores of the state’s best dancers will take to the floor of Target Center during the 2023 Dance Team State Tournament on February 17-18. The Jazz competition will take place on Friday, followed by the High Kick event on Saturday.

Here is a snapshot of the tournament:

• Eastview (Class AAA) returns as the three-time defending champion in both Jazz and High Kick.
• The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaderettes will defend their Jazz and High Kick titles in Class A.
• In Class AA, Benilde-St. Margaret’s (Jazz) and Austin (High Kick) look to build on their respective 2022 championships.
• Benilde St. Margaret’s is in the hunt for its 11th Jazz crown. The Lightning Dance Team from Eastview is looking for its 15th title in High Kick.
• The Blaine Bengalettes performed during this year’s Reliaquest Bowl in Tampa, FL.
