Eastview earns third consecutive High Kick crown

Eastview was the only school to defend its 2021 title in the High Kick division. The Lightning earned their third consecutive title with their dance titled “Let’s Naacho.” Austin won its first championship in Class AA and St. Cloud Cathedral claimed its fifth in Class A.
The St. Cloud Crusaderettes earned their fifth High Kick title, but first since 2010. They won previously in 2005, 2008, 2009, and 2010. Yellow Medicine East of Granite Falls was second and the three-time defending champions from Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd were third.
In Class AA, Austin improved on last year’s runner-up showing to win its first championship. Benilde-St. Margaret’s finished in second place and Totino-Grace followed in third.
Eastview danced away with its third consecutive and 14th overall High Kick crown. The Lightning won previously in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Wayzata placed second and Lakeville North was third.
