Watertown-Mayer/Mound Westonka repeats as Class A team champion

Watertown-Mayer/Mound Westonka successfully defended its 2021 title during the Class A team event. This was the second overall title for the Royals, who finished with a score of 145.750. Watertown-Mayer/Mound Westonka won on the vault (37.050) and uneven bars (36.375).

Mankato West placed second in the team scoring (145.600) and earned the highest mark of 37.275 in the floor exercise. Big Lake earned third-place honors with a score of 145.000. The Hornets won on the balance beam with a score of 36.500.

Reagan Kelley of Watertown-Mayer/Mound Westonka paced the Royals on the uneven bars (9.675) and balance beam (9.400). Anna Mielke put up the top score on the vault (9.650) and Ella Blinkhorn led the way in the floor exercise (9.350)
