The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons claimed their first Class A team championship with 629 strokes. Junior Rylin Petry was the top finisher for the Falcons and his score of 146 was also enough to secure top individual honors.

Fertile-Beltrami and Sleepy Eye United were tied for the top spot after the first day of competition, but the United slipped to third place after shooting a 335 on the second day to Fertile-Beltrami’s 308. Legacy Christian Academy earned runner-up honors with a final score 642.

Senior Brett Reid of Community Christian (147) came in second in the individual event and sophomore Ryan Engel of Ada-Borup-West (149) was third.

The Cloquet Lumberjacks were the second team to go home with their first championship trophy. They had 598 strokes to Totino-Grace’s 616. The Delano Tigers placed third in the team event with a final score of 618.

Cloquet senior Sam Baker also claimed top honors in the individual competition with his score of 141. Staples-Motley senior Beck Erholtz (142) placed second and New London-Spicer junior Peyton Coahran (145) followed in third.

In Class AAA, the Maple Grove Crimson won their second team championship with a score of 584. They claimed their first in 2018. Senior Josh Galvin shot a 140 over the tournament, which was good enough to tie for fourth place.

Edina placed second in the team competition with 600 strokes and Eastview was third at 607.

Nate Stevens, a junior from Northfield, won his first individual championship with a final score of 134. Minnetonka senior Ian Meyer claimed second-place honors at 136 and Buffalo sophomore Arthur Ylitalo was third at 137.
