Most Valuable Teammate Week 26

Maddy Urban

Stewartville High School – Junior

Maddy suffered a broken ankle right before our first practice and has been in a cast or boot all season. Maddy has become another coach during this absence by attending each practice and meet. At our meets she drives around in a cart and makes sure all the girls have food and just makes sure they are having fun. Without Maddy our program would suffer.

Most Valuable Teammate Week 23

Lauren Hicks

Ortonville High School – Senior

Lauren demonstrates leadership, a positive attitude and kindness in everything she does on and off the court. When a teammate was diagnosed with cancer, she was the first to live out her leadership by organizing a cancer night with a neighboring team that also has been impacted by cancer. Her compassion for her teammates, our community and humankind makes her an undeniable MVT.

Austyn is a true teammate who sees the needs and does the job without being asked and always seeks team success over personal accomplishment.
