Clay Target State Tournament to be held Friday, June 24, 2022

Clay Target, the final event of the Minnesota State High School League’s calendar of events for the 2021-22 school year, is Friday, June 24 at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake. The state tournament, held since 2015, features the top 40 qualifying teams, and this season, will showcase the top 93 individual participants that qualified.

Lakeville South captures first girls lacrosse title

Top-seeded Chanhassen rallied to tie the title game at 7-7 in the second half, but that wasn’t enough to top No. 2 Lakeville South. The Cougars, buoyed by two late goals from sophomore Sivanna O’Brien, scored three times in the final eight minutes and defeated the Storm 10-7.
