The MSHSL is proud to announce the 32 finalists in this year's Triple "A" Award.

Hill-Murray's Girls Alpine Skiing Team made two pieces of school history when freshman Taylor Voigt won the individual title and the Pioneers powered to the team title.

West Lutheran's Josh Nelson and the Minnetonka Skippers emerged as champions at the Minnesota State High School League's Alpine Skiing State Meet on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023 at Giants Ridge near Biwabik.

The Szymanski kids grew up in a sports-oriented family in Sauk Rapids. Ryan, Matt, Justin and little sister Kaelyn were athletes at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. They all became hockey officials, which set up a special day for their family recently when Ryan, Matt and Kaelyn officiated together for the first time.

Scores of the state’s best dancers will take to the floor of Target Center during the 2023 Dance Team State Tournament on February 17-18. The Jazz competition will take place on Friday, followed by the High Kick event on Saturday.

The two-day Nordic Skiing State Meet is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 15 and Thursday, Feb. 16 at Giants Ridge near Biwabik.

Dr. Bill Roberts, the chair of the League's Sports Medicine Advisory Committee, shares a reflection on what we have learned following the COVID-19 outbreak and what we can do moving forward as the virus continues to lurk. Roberts was inducted into the League's Hall of Fame in 2022.

Four Class A productions were honored with "starred performance" ratings on Friday, February 10.

After watching and then individually critiquing eight Class AA dramatic productions, a panel of judges rated three of them “starred performances” on Thursday, February 9.

Moorhead's Rebecca Meyer-Larson is not one to focus on personal acclaim, but her years of dedication to students is being recognized by the National Federation of State High School Associations. During the annual NFHS summer meeting in late June in Seattle, she will be awarded the NFHS Citation Award.

Emmett Keenan is the Activities Director at St. Cloud Cathedral High School. He also is a League-registered official and has served as an officials' assignor and observer. In addition to serving on the League's Board of Directors, he is active in many state tournament leadership roles.
