Boys Lacrosse 2025: Edina, Stillwater Area move on to title game

Championship Semifinals

Stillwater Area dismissed East Ridge 12-6 in the first championship semifinal. Senior Grant Giese paced the Ponies’ offense with six goals. Junior Isaac Johnston added two goals and two assists. 

Seniors Oliver Stalsberg and Mac O’Brien netted two goals apiece for East Ridge.

Lakeville North and Edina met in the day’s second semifinal, with the Hornets winning 10-4. 

Senior Eli Busse led Edina with three goals and one assist. Senior Cooper Anderson and junior Michael Sieve tallied three goals apiece for the Hornets.

Seniors Carter Piscitiello and Lane Johnson each struck twice for Lakeville North. 

Consolation Semifinals

In the first consolation semifinal, Moorhead posted a 12-8 victory over the defending champions from Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Sophomore Evan Wanner led the Spuds with three goals. Sophomores Finn Paulsen and Rylan Overbo were the second-leading scorers; they finished with two goals apiece.

Minnetonka senior Gabe Miller struck for six goals and two assists as the Skippers defeated Blaine 19-12 in the second game of the day. Junior Laird Cassidy and senior Ethan Robinson each tallied three points for Minnetonka on two goals and one assist.
