Boys Lacrosse Semifinal - Benilde-St. Margaret's 9, Stillwater Area 3

Top-seeded Benilde-St. Margaret’s used consistent scoring to secure a 9-3 semifinal victory over No. 4-seeded Stillwater Area. The Red Knights scored two goals in each of the first three quarters and three in the fourth. The Ponies were held scoreless in the second and third quarters.
Benilde-St. Margaret’s senior midfielder Patrick Burns scored one goal in each quarter to lead the Red Knights. Senior attacker Matthew Doeden tallied three goals for Benilde, while junior attacker Cam Gelling and senior midfielder Jackson Leischow added one apiece.
Three different players netted goals for Stillwater Area: juniors Carter Bies and Ben Shockency and senior Alex Corbett.
Benilde-St. Margaret’s will face No. 3 Prior Lake in the title game at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 19.
