Breck/Blake's Crosby sets two all-time records in Class A swim prelims

Seniors James Pan and Charlie Crosby and freshman Henry Webb led the way as the Breck/Blake team captured the fastest prelim time in nine events. Pan is defending his crown in both the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke and he turned in the fastest prelim time in both events. He had a 1:50.50 in the individual medley and a 55.19 in the breaststroke.  

Crosby returns as the two-time defending champion in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke and he posted Class A and all-time records in both events during the preliminaries. He had a 19.72 in the 50 freestyle and a 46.41 in the 100 backstroke.

Webb was the final Breck/Blake competitor to have the best time in two races. He swam the 200 freestyle in 1:40.33 and completed the 100 freestyle in 45.79.

Breck/Blake also captured the fastest preliminary time in all three relays. The Breck/Blake squad is looking for its fifth consecutive title in the 200 freestyle relay and posted a 1:33.36 in the prelims. Breck/Blake is also looking to defend its title in the 200 freestyle relay and had a preliminary time of 1:26.71. Finally, Breck/Blake had winning prelim time of 3:10.35 in the 400 freestyle relay.

The Class A swimming and diving finals will be held at noon on Saturday, March 5.
