Girls Lacrosse Quarterfinal - Rosemount 12, Maple Grove 5

Maple Grove scored the first goal against Rosemount, but the Irish then outscored the Crimson 9-2 over the remainder of the first half. The Irish went on to win the first quarterfinal of the day 12-5.

Rosemount junior midfielder Ava Whelan tallied three goals in the first half and finished the game with three goals and three assists. Junior midfielder Emma Duchscherer added four goals and one assist for the Irish.  Madisen Myers, Rosemount’s senior goalie, made eight saves.

Senior midfielder Courtney Leising led Maple Grove with two goals. Junior attacker Danielle Key, sophomore Ella Olson and junior attacker Jamie Stolp scored one goal apiece for the Crimson.
