State Tournament Archive - Girls Gymnastics

The Minnesota State High School League and its member schools salute the individual and team champions that were crowned during the run of state tournament events in the Winter of 2023.

Seniors Reagan Kelley of Watertown-Mayer/Mound Westonka (Class A) and Taylar Schaefer of St. Cloud (Class AA) were both successful in defending their respective 2022 all-around titles. Schaefer swept all four events on her way to the championship, while Kelley also captured first place on the vault.

Both Big Lake (Class A) and New Prague (Class AA) returned to the championship podium after improving on their 2022 finishes.

For the first time in 42 years, Anoka (Class AA) will have a team competing at the Gymnastics State Meet. The Tornados made their last appearance in 1981, finishing in sixth place.
